Browse map showing populations of cities throughout world

If you love maps the way I do you'll enjoy using this platform, which shows population of cities throughout the world, on an interactive human terrain map.

Below is one screen shot showing the Midwest part of the USA.

Chicago is in the center. Indianapolis, Detroit and Minneapolis also shown
I moved the map to the East and created another screen shot.

Chicago is at the left and Pittsburgh and Toronto at the right
I put arrows on the map to indicate that cities with large populations probably have areas of concentrated poverty, where a Tutor/Mentor Connection type strategy could be useful.

You can view any part of the  world. In the upper right is a population count for the area shown as you move to different parts of the country. That's a neat feature.  You can also create a view that compares 1990 to 2015. Try it out.

Below is a view of the West Coast of Africa, centered on the nation of Nigeria.

Nigeria on continent of Africa

I've had contact with several people from Africa since the early 2000s who have shown interest in the Tutor/Mentor Connection strategy.  No one yet has been able to come forward with the resources and manpower to duplicate it yet.

It's needed.
